  • When is the SeaScape 12 available?

  • Production has started, and the watercraft will be available from spring 2012

  • What are the dimensions of the SeaScape 12?

  • The watercraft is 12 feet long, 6.1 feet wide, and  49.6" tall

  • What is the diameter of the propeller?

  • 15 inches

  • Can you lift the whole prop and rudder?

  • Yes, via the steering handle as you approach shallow waters

  • Run time?

  • At average pedal assist, the SeaScape 12 will run 4-5 hours (one pair of batteries)

  • Top Speed?

  • The SeaScape 12 can travel approx. 5 knots (8-10 kmh)

  • How many occupants can be on board?

  • The SeaScape 12 accommodates 2 adults and 2 children 

  • Can I remove the batteries?

  • Yes, you can remove the batteries by removing the straps

  • Is there storage on board?

  • Yes, there is storage under the seats, behind the seats (pouch), in the battery compartments, optional front insert storage (coming soon)

  • Can you trailer it?

  • Yes, you can easily trailer the SeaScape 12 behind a compact vehicle

  • Are there any options for leasing?

  • BionX will have arrangements with a financial institution. The DEALER may choose to use this plan.

  • Can the SeaScape 12 be used in salt water?

  • Yes, it was designed with this in mind.

  • Will there be a fishing package available?

  • Yes, coming soon.

  • Where will it be available first?

  • The SeaScape 12 will be available in select areas within North America and Europe.

  • How much will it cost?

  • Pricing is available at selected dealers.

  • Does the SeaScape 12 come with a trailer?

  • No, the trailer is an option.

  • Does the watercraft come with a charger?

  • Yes, the standard version of the watercraft model comes with one pair of batteries and one charger (upgrades available).

  • How long does it take to charge the battery?

  • Average charging time depends on the type of charger and the condition of the batteries.

  • How do I charge the watercraft?

  • The standard 110V / 24V charger plugs directly into the dashboard of the watercraft.

  • Is the console removable?

  • Yes, the BionX G2 console is removable for security purposes.

  • Is the console waterproof?

  • The console is water resistant but should not be submersed.
